General conditions
Inventory
Everything in the apartment is at your disposal, except the cupboard situated in the middle room, which is locked. This is where we store our private belongings, thank you not to access it.
Electronic devices
You will find detailed information on the use of the various devices in the “Infos” folder situated on the bookshelf in the main room.
Plants on the terraces
The plants on the terraces are looked after by a gardener. He has a key and comes in once or twice a week, depending on the season. If you do not want the gardener to come into the apartment, please let us know. In that case it will be your responsibility to care for the plants.
Beds
To guarantee the cleanliness of the mattresses, they are covered with protections. Please do not sleep on them directly.
Furniture
Only the garden furniture must be used outside. Please do not move the indoors furniture outside.
Refrigerator
Upon departure, please empty and clean the fridge / freezer, turn it off and leave its doors open.
Keys
Upon arrival you will find two sets of keys in the key box situated outside the main door. The code will be communicated before your arrival.
In the small wooden cupboard in the entrance hall, there are also 2 electronic bracelets which will allow you to open the doors to leave Alcazaba Beach on the beach side.
In case you lose one of them, please inform us immediately.
In case you left the keys inside the apartment and cannot enter the apartment, please go to security at the entrance of Alcazaba Beach.
Toilets
Please do not throw any food, cotton, etc. in the toilets. Most of the sanitary pipes are thin and clog up easily.
Sunbeds
The blue sunbeds around the pools are free and not reservable. Please leave personal objects only during the time you are using them, freeing them for other users when you’re not using them. If we all respect this rule, there will always be sunbeds in the pools available to everyone.
The white sunbeds around the complex are also free, except in July in August.
Do not leave any object in the reserved sunbed areas (towels, toiletry bags, clothes, shoes, etc.).
Alcazaba Beach common grounds
Please leave your beach chairs, paddle surf boards, etc., at night in the warehouse next to the phase 2 restaurant.
Avoid leaving them on the lawn or hammock areas. Neither on the landings of the buildings nor in the common spaces of the beaches of the different phases.
Bicycles
Please park bicycles in the places provided. If there is no space available due to high occupancy during the summer, do it in places where people are not impeded or cause any inconvenience (avoid leaving them on ground floor landings or walkways).
Heating / Air conditioning
When using the heating or air conditioning, please make sure you keep all the doors and windows closed to avoid waste of energy.
Electricity
It could happen that the fuses blow if too many electric devices are running at the same time. In that case you will need to put them up again in the electricity cupboard, which is located in the entrance hall, to the left of the main door when entering the apartment.
Internet
There is a Wi-Fi connexion in the apartment. You will find the code on the router. The connexion security is similar to a public internet connexion and your security arrangements should be set accordingly.
Smoking
Smoking in the apartment is prohibited but allowed on the terraces.
Animals
We do not accept animals in our apartment.
Waste / Recycling
At the main entrance of Alcazaba Beach you will find containers where you can recycle paper, corrugated board, glass, plastic, pet and tin cans.
Theft
You must always close the doors and windows when leaving the apartment. You are responsible for your valuables. There is no insurance covering theft or damage to your belongings.
Safe
A small safe is available in the wardrobe of the main bedroom. It operates in the same way as hotel safes: you set your own code to lock and unlock it.
Please note that items placed in the safe are not covered by insurance, and you should ensure that you have your own theft insurance coverage.
Damage
If despite all your attention you should damage something in the apartment, please inform us as soon as possible.
Kitchen
Before leaving, the tenant is required to clean the kitchen appliances (oven, refrigerator, stovetop) as well as the dishes, cutlery, and cooking utensils.
Number of occupants
The apartment is intended for 4 people, but up to 6 people maximum are authorised to sleep there, although the cupboard in the middle room is not available.
The number of people occupying the apartment must not exceed the number mentioned in the contract, including children under the age of 16.
Sublet
Subletting or making the apartment available to people not planned in the lease contract is prohibited.
The owner and security are authorized to ask people for a piece of credentials in order to verify their identity. People whose names do not appear expressly in the lease contract may be evicted.
General
The tenant undertakes to use the rented property with care, to respect the internal regulations and to show consideration towards the other occupants of the building and the neighbours.
Parties / events are not allowed.
Arrival
The apartment is given in a state of suitable cleanliness and in accordance with the contract. If damage is noted at the time of handing over the property, the tenant is required to immediately notify the owners. Otherwise the property is deemed to have been given in a perfect condition.
Departure
Please leave the keys inside the apartment on the dining table, and the two electronic bracelets back in the little wooden cupboard.
Return of the rented property
The rented property must be returned in good condition and on time.
Barbecue
A big barbecue is available on the top terrace. If used during your stay, please empty the ashes and give it a clean.
It is strictly forbidden to use the vacuum cleaner to clean the barbecue.
Fees
The fees are per night. You may arrive and leave anytime during the day. We keep a day free between rentals for cleaning.
Sheets and towels
Sheets and towels are provided.
Extra changes of sheets during your stay me be arranged (price upon request).
